Join us every Monday at 6:00 PM for Constitution Class at Old Glory in Gladstone. Learn about constitutional principles, founding documents, and the framework of American government. A great opportunity to deepen your understanding of the Constitution and engage in meaningful discussions about our founding principles. Classes are held weekly except for holidays.

Red, White & Informed — Saturday, April 18th
Join us for Red, White & Informed — a community education event hosted by the Delta County Republican Party. Come learn about the candidates, issues, and initiatives on the 2026 ballot. Meet your local Republican candidates, get informed on key issues, and connect with fellow conservatives in Delta County. This is a free, family-friendly event open to all. Delta County GOP Booth — Gun, Knife & Craft Show
Be sure and visit the Delta County Republican Party booth at the Gun, Knife & Craft Show in Bark River. The event is held on Friday, April 10th from 12 - 7pm and April 11th from 9am - 3pm. We will have lots of information to share, including who are the candidates running for office in the 2026 election.
UP Gubernatorial Debate — Saturday, May 2nd
The 1st Congressional District Republicans are excited to invite you to the UP Gubernatorial Debate – a major event bringing Michigan's top Republican candidates right to the Upper Peninsula! The event features a live debate among the Republican gubernatorial candidates, with candid discussions on the issues Michigan families care about most. Memorial Day Parade — Monday, May 25th
The Rapid River Memorial Day Parade is sponsored by the Rapid River Lions Club and the American Legion to celebrate and honor our brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. The parade and celebration take place throughout the day in Rapid River, beginning with Honoring our fallen at our local cemeteries, then going into the parade. After the parade there will be food and events both in the park and at the Lions Club. The Delta County Republican Party will be participating in the parade. Flag Day Celebration — Sunday, June 14th
Mark your calendar and plan on attending a fun, family centered picnic to celebrate and commemorate the adoption of the national flag. We will honor the principles of freedom, unity, and patriotism associated with the flag. Watch for more information and details coming soon.

Mark your calendar to join us as we celebrate the 250 year anniversary of America! Come out to Gladstone for a festive 4th of July Celebration & Parade honoring 250 years of American independence. Join your fellow community members and Republicans in celebrating this historic milestone with patriotic pride.
AXMITAX - Eliminate Property Tax Petition
We are no longer collecting signatures and have begun to round up every petition from every corner of the state. We now wait to find out if there are enough petitions signatures to bring the citizen ballot initiative to the ballot in November. For more information visit axmitax.org Our petition proposes an amendment to the Michigan Constitution to eliminate Property Taxes in Michigan, ensuring homeowners and businesses truly own their property without ongoing taxation. To replace the lost revenue from this amendment, we propose an increase portion of state sales tax be redirected to cities, townships, and villages from 10% to 13.33%, and from 0% to 6.67% for counties. But that's not all. To fully ensure that local schools, local infrastructure, & local services stay funded, we will also shift 10% of state income, marihuana, alcohol, and tobacco tax revenues to local governments. Finally, we will require 60% voter approval for local tax increases and a 2/3 vote of the Legislature for tax increases greater than 0.1% over 5 years.
